The HUB Co.Works is a meeting, event, office, and co-working space located in downtown Rutland, Vermont. Created in 2023 by repurposing an early 20th century opera house, the space features 80 co-working hot desks that can be used by purchasing day or monthly passes. We have many dedicated desks available as well, many with monitors and HDMI cables for use with your laptops. We have five private ZOOM rooms to make and take calls, three private day offices, four tech-enabled conference meeting rooms, and a professional-quality podcasting studio to help influencers and businesses promote their brand. We provide members and guests with free Vermont Pure Spring Water, Green Mountain Roasters Coffee, and hot Twining's Organic Teas.

The HUB Co.Works is conveniently located near coffee shops, retail shopping, fine and casual dining options, and and inexpensive public parking. We have agreements with many restaurants that can provide in-house meals for meetings, seminars, and special events.

The HUB Co.Works is located on the second floor of the Opera House in downtown Rutland, Vermont. There is an elevator located on the ground level for those needing it. The open staircase is clearly marked to access the second floor entrance. Members with a membership or reservation can use the iPAD to log into our Office RnD system to let us know that you are here. Day-pass members can find a desk of their choice in the Opera House co-working side of the building. Many of the spaces have a large screen-monitor and HDMI cable for use while you are here. The building is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Our organization hosted an event here and everything was very smooth. We rented the street side classroom and that made it really easy for people to find in addition to being sunny and comfortable. Having the little kitchenette there meant I could bring some things to round out the catering, too. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

The Hub is conveniently located in downtown Rutland, VT. You can walk to local eateries for lunch or bring your own and eat in the clean kitchen at the Hub. The walls here are covered with art and the other professionals working here are friendly. This is a fabulous space either for every day working or sporadic when you’re in the area.

I wanted this to work, but it ultimately wasn’t a great fit for remote work and meetings. The biggest issues were privacy, non-typical cowork hours, and sound carried a lot more than expected. Even in the call areas, conversations felt easy to overhear. I also drove in from the resort area and between the travel time and road conditions, it wasn’t worth the trek for a few hours of work throughout the week during my trip. Also, I was able to just walk-in and get on the network without putting any member credentials in, just a password written on business cards and I think I saw it on your whiteboards. How are you actually managing and limiting your day pass members and internet? I ended up finding a better option elsewhere that was closer to where I was staying and fit more of my needs.

Where else can you work in a newly renovated opera house? Picture a 2025 coworking space with the charm of an 1880s theater. Bright, natural light, comfy seats, and friendly people. I highly recommend this place.
