Absolute the worst co-working space experience. We had 3 people and were there to try out the environment for potential office space. The front desk guy was not helpful at all. We had to ask everything before he offered any answer and those were short. He told us to use the website to book time, the 3 of us spent about 30 minutes trying to sign up for the site and then pay for a few hours of working time. The website's UX was horrible. Finally wasted enough time and downloaded the app, which worked a little better. The front desk guy could just have just said "hey, the app is better". Then had to ask him for the wifi code because it wasn't on the website. Once we got on, the wifi dropped periodically. Not sure if this is for everyone or just in the common area. The building also had horrible cellphone reception. And yes, you have to pay for coffee and tea... one of my partners paid for it, but then there was none to be found... We wanted to ask the front desk guy, but he disappeared. We each paid for about 4 hours, after wasting 2 hours trying to get registered, dealing with wifi, and no coffee, we finally got sick of it and left. The guy ignored us when we left. Avoid if you don't want to waste your time...

The most deserving of 1-star reviews. If you value your time and money ($100/hr for a conference room that sits 3 or more people) DO NOT bother with these clowns, just go to WeWork. WeWork is vastly superior to Spaces. No one at Spaces knows what they're doing, and they can't help with anything anyways as everything is on the app. Need something? Submit a support ticket with a 72hr SLA. It took more than 30 minutes to get "registered" and paid (for just a couple hour-long pass), and we still ended up leaving after less than a full hour there. There was no coffee, tea, or water. The WiFi straight-up didn't work. You can't do anything unless you download their app and give it location services on your device (and just this time is not sufficient, you have to grant it permanent access). I'm usually willing to give rental offices a chance, but white-walled Regus offices are superior to this experience. Spaces fails in every single possible category: the space itself sucks and completely lacks cell phone reception (and I'm on Verizon, excellent in this area and through buildings, even next door at ICF). They're completely devoid of customer service. Their internal WiFi is not reliable. Their offices are also smaller than their competitors while being on-par with pricing or more expensive. Please save your time and money, don't even bother. You'll be better off working from a bar or Starbucks.

I would be very cautious when getting office space here. I had issues from day 1. It took several people and several days to set my printer up. I had no cell phone reception in the office I chose, so I had to move offices. When I left I was told I had to pay $3.50 per square foot for an office restoration fee. Not sure if many people are aware, but that can be a significant cost on top of your contract. Basically, it seems you are getting a better deal than you are. In previous office spaces I've worked in, these fees are included in the monthly rent, not an add on at the end. Parking is impossible, don't bother. They also have the audacity to charge for coffee! With the money they are charging, you don’t even get a tea! All in all I will say, the people that work there are nice, the people that have office space there are fairly cold. I didn't enjoy my experience and wouldn't recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Spaces.

  • Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.

While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Spaces to discuss accommodating your adjustments.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Spaces Reston Station and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.
