This is the worst office, my husband rent an office and it is almost three month we could not get our security deposit, the customer service is very bad.

Can’t be a good sign. See my other post about my trash bins not being emptied for a couple of months.

Connectivity Issues & Unresolved Promises at Regus Crystal City My team and I chose Regus' coworking space in Crystal City because of its brand-new interiors and cleanliness, as well as its competitive rates. I must commend the sales staff and front desk team, who have been genuinely attentive. However, our experience has been marred by serious connectivity issues. Before signing our lease, we were repeatedly assured that free ethernet connectivity would be available. Not only did this turn out to be untrue post-move-in, but the WiFi, too, proved to be unreliable — down for our first week and occasionally spotty thereafter. We approached the situation professionally, continuously liaising with Regus to find a resolution. Proposals from them included transferring us to another building across the county where we had experienced WiFi issues before (SPACES in Rosslyn), and even offering to sublet our space. After an extended period of back-and-forth, and being initially told they would honor a lease termination, we were later informed that they would not. Most recently, we were told ethernet would be activated, though no timeframe was provided. Communication during these episodes has been less than satisfactory, often marked by delays, lack of response and misdirection to other Regus staff and teams. It's crucial to note that throughout this ordeal, we've remained patient and respectful. Our experiences with Regus over the past years (at Spaces in Rosslyn and now here at Regus Crystal City) indicate these aren't isolated incidents but perhaps indicative of broader operational challenges. There are now many alternative coworking options in the Crystal City area. Based on our experience, I would advise potential leasees to explore those before considering this space. As for us, it seems we'll be seeing through the duration of our lease here — a prospect I'd advise others to avoid. Regus's Response: Hi Alex, we're so sorry to hear you've been having issues with the ethernet connectivity. Please rest assured we escalated your concerns to our global customer services and your centre team to provide further support. Your ticket reference number is C-10505728-J4Q1. Thanks. This is the challenge. We have been in this loop of "global customer services" and "your centre team" for two months. Round and round we go. We have expressed to them that at this point, the solution is to allow us to terminate so we can move somewhere else. They have "flip flopped" between yes, and "we will find a tenant to take your place" and finally "no, but we will figure out how to enable ethernet" with no guidance as to when. Update 2 months later: They have formally told us that they cannot turn on ethernet for our offices and are unwilling to release us from the lease. No one has been in our office in two months. I came in today to disassemble all of the ethernet hubs and cables to bring them to our other office. Remember, no one has been here for almost 2 months. The waste bins still have the same trash from when I was here two months ago, there is sheetrock debris on the carpet, in the recycling bin (clearly some work was done). Our offices are hot (they said they did have HVAC issues in these spaces before we moved in but that "they were resolved"), and to add insult to injury, some of our whiteboard equipment seems to have "walked off". Unbelievable.

Regus suddenly closed its Rosslyn office without any explanation and never refund the retainers and prepaid rentals. Be careful, never trust any of their clauses in the agreement. They have been continuing conduct their business in a very bad manner and disrupt their tenants business without any communication, even against VA law. It is interesting that Regus never follows its own agreement. --------updated, this issue was resolved by Regus National Landing office manager. I received the refund. Thanks to Timothy Waul for your awesome customer service and timely action. Hope Regus will keep good customer communication channel from now on.
