We appreciate that the ALX Community team works diligently to produce seamless, memorable events. The Town Hall space at the waterfront location is the perfect layout and size for our fundraiser. And, each year, our event becomes more successful!!! The Town Hall and waterfront location add a special ambiance and there is a patio that leads to the city dock. Additionally, the waterfront location has a conference center for small to mid-sized meetings and retreats. ALX Community space is inclusive, warm, and conveniently located. I highly recommend this event space in Alexandria for social, corporate, and/or nonprofit fundraisers, as well as other gatherings - check out ALX Community for your next event! June 2025 ALX Community Waterfront Receives 5 Stars AGAIN! The ALX Community Waterfront team is a blessing! We began our event advance planning journey with Lyza as our Event Coordinator. She is knowledgeable, personable and professional. Lyza responded to every question and request, and the process was seamless! On the day of the event, Caden served as our onsite contact. Many thanks to Caden for his remarkable energy and for being super helpful throughout the event. He anticipated our needs well and we setup in record time! ALX Community Waterfront is a phenomenal co-working venue and event site. Whether you're planning a mid-sized program or social, corporate, or nonprofit event of up to 150 people. The Town Hall space has it all - ambiance, large picture windows looking out onto the city dock and waterfront, a patio with comfortable lounge furniture, a built-in prep and display station, plenty of tables and seating, and a media wall as well as monitors to brand your event and promote sponsors and partners. ALX Community Above, Atrium, and Waterfront include amazing community spaces, conference rooms and individual nooks, and eclectic event venues. Each location evokes a unique vibe, and the panoramic windows and rooftop are unforgettable. Our organization held its annual fundraiser at The Atrium last year and Waterfront last month. Staff are phenomenal to work with and they guide you throughout the process. Thank you Leeza - our onsite event specialist, Christopher, Kelly, Kylie, Luke, and Ashton with ALX Community for your expertise! The Town Hall at the Waterfront is perfect for groups up to 150 people looking for a charming and festive space. It was perfect for our Speakeasy-themed event thanks to the lounge furniture & arrangement! We maximized the space as our event included food & beverage, auction, a festive jazz trio, and we used the outdoor patio because the weather was beautiful that evening. Our organization's fundraiser was super successful in many ways, breaking records and exceeding the overall goal! Thank you, all!

We've used ALX Community Waterfront several times for small business meetings, and it has been a fantastic experience every time. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the space is clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the waterfront location simply can't be beat. One of the things we appreciate most is the consistency. It's so nice to have a space you can confidently return to, knowing it will be just as professional, inviting, and enjoyable as the last visit. Having booked here twice now, I can say the experience is consistently top-tier. The owner, Kelly Grant, is clearly dedicated to excellence, and it shows. A Dream Setting for the "I Do" Crew! If you are looking for a venue that perfectly blends chic industrial vibes with effortless elegance, look no further than ALX Community. We recently hosted a bridal shower here, and "stunning" doesn't even begin to cover it. From the moment our guests walked in, the atmosphere was electric. The space is naturally beautiful, but the way it handled our event made it feel truly high-end and intimate all at once. Heartfelt Thanks A massive thank you to Kelly Grant for her incredible generosity in providing this space. It's rare to find a venue owner so invested in making a community feel welcome, and her support turned our vision into a reality. A special shout-out to our event coordinator, Elissa Ortiz. Elissa is a total pro--she kept everything running like clockwork so we could actually enjoy the mimosas and celebrate the bride-to-be. Her attention to detail and calm energy made the entire planning process a breeze. Bottom line: If you want an event that people will be talking about for weeks, book ALX Community. 10/10 would celebrate here again!

Wow - What a tremendous location and staff. We enjoyed two days (12/15 and 12/16) at the location and everything was fantastic. Most of all - the support and professionalism provided by Luke - that guy was wonderful. He saved me with some first class efforts and helped make the team's enture experience wildless successful.
