I had a very disappointing experience with Regus in Provo. I signed a lease expecting a straightforward office rental, but on my very first day I was handed a list of surprise “junk fees” and additional upfront costs that were never disclosed by the leasing agent during the sales process. Because of this, I immediately chose **not** to move in. I never took possession of the office, never used the space, and notified them that I was canceling before occupancy. Under Utah law, rent is tied to possession/occupancy, which I also explained to them multiple times. Despite that, Regus has continued to send invoices and has now sent my account to collections. I’ve responded to their emails at least 5–6 times, clearly stating that I never took possession of the office and that the unit remained vacant and unused by me. My communications have been ignored, and the billing/collection efforts have continued anyway. In my opinion, this is a very dishonest and misleading way to do business. **Do not walk – run the other way.** If you’re considering Regus, be extremely careful, get every single fee and charge in writing before signing anything, and understand exactly what you’re committing to. My experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had they been transparent and reasonable.

The space itself was clean, quiet, and accessible 24/7, which was great. The front desk staff were kind and understanding, but management was extremely difficult to work with. They advertise low monthly rates, but once you sign, you find out about multiple unexpected fees and "deposits" that make no sense. We were charged over $1,100 for a so-called "cleanup fee" after staying less than a month, even though we offered to clean it ourselves. It turns out that fee actually goes toward their advertising and commissions. They also claimed deposits would be refunded within 30 days, but ours took more than 50. On top of that, we were honest from the start that we'd likely only need the space for a month, but they never mentioned needing 30 days' notice to cancel. That mistake cost us an extra month of rent for offices we didn't even use. Overall, the offices were nice, but the lack of transparency and poor communication made this a frustrating and expensive experience. Don't expect the monthly price to be what they advertise, make sure you understand all the extra costs of getting in and out before signing anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.

On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.

Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Regus.

  • Regus - Downtown Provo operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

  • Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.

While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Regus to discuss accommodating your adjustments.
