There is a creepy neighbor who lives in the taupe house with red door behind this building, second from the corner. He walked out of his back upstairs apartment that overlooks the 1919 parking lot, around the building, and right behind my car, then right back to his apartment. It was nighttime so I was very startled. Anytime of day is creepy though. Being an independent woman in this world is difficult enough. Gotta deal with creepers all the time. Dude did not make me feel safe. I said hi when I noticed him and he said nothing. Just creeped, and turned around back to his house. (Medium height rotund fellow with short brown hair, didn’t look too old maybe about 40). I was visiting a friend at the workplace and I just want to let the building know. I’m not leaving a negative review of 1919, (unless they condone this weird behavior from the neighbors).

I've rented a desk at 1919 for a little over a year now and have been very pleased with the experience. The building is wonderful. It's an historic church with large stained-glass windows and high vaulted ceilings. I work in a spacious, open area filled with natural light. I never want to go back to working under fluorescent lights again. If you enjoy a midday walk during the cooler months, Buffalo Bayou Park is just a 10-minute walk away. Even the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant to explore, with quiet streets at least a block removed from any major thoroughfares. There are a few lunch spots within walking distance, and many more just a five-minute drive away. Plus, there's great coffee at Catalina, just down the street. I've only had pleasant interactions with the other tenants, and it's so nice to be in a buzzing professional environment.

I’ve been at Workplace 1919 for 2 years and love it! This was once an old church and is located in a historical neighborhood with great walkability. My morning commute is less than 10 minutes. The environment is relaxed but professional with a friend and helpful concierge team. The proximity to downtown is a big plus. There’s on-site parking and lots of restaurants close by. I highly recommend.

I've been working at Workplace 1919 since May 2021. It is a great office space in an enjoyable, historical setting. The location is fantastic if you are in town and the staff are attentive and helpful. All of the other people who work there are generally friendly and professional. And the price is right for sure.

This is a beautiful old church building, which has been converted into a co-working space in Rice Military. Lots of space, good lighting, high-speed internet, friendly co-tenants, and great location. No complaints, it’s a great place to lease a desk and get work done!
