I was looking for a change of scenery from my windowless work office and needed a focused space outside my home office (which tends to get invaded by family) and ran into Local Office WU online. I was looking at different co-working spaces inside the Loop and through comparisons of offerings, amenities, and space, I decided to try out Local Office. They have a Day Pass for $25 and boy, was it worth it! I went on a Friday and was there from 9am until just before 5pm and it was quiet and peaceful. The co-working space has great seating, lighting, tables, and a warm ambiance. There's quiet background music that isn't distracting. Their kitchen is a plus with cold drinks, ice/water, coffee, and snacks. Candy is also scattered around the different spaces. Wi-Fi is fast and had no issuea with my virtual meetings via Zoom and Teams lagging. I worked from the co-working space but used their phone booths for my virtual meetings. They have a library area that also has seating with monitors you can plug into and there isn't any shortage of outlets and USB ports. Restrooms are clean with some amenities to help you freshen up. Overall, a great place to do some remote work if you're looking for a place to get work done. 5 stars!

Definitely the best coworking space in Houston. Professional yet friendly in a warm environment with all the amenities one needs when working. The manager, Paige, goes above and beyond to make our community thrive, from keeping us stocked with snacks to promoting a vibrant atmosphere with events.
