For those looking for a comfortable place to work, thinking, or networking Switchyards offers a nice alternative to coffee shops. Pluse you don't have to worry about opening hours because it's open 24/7. Parking isn't the most convenient for Houston's weather (heat or rain), as parking is basically street parking. However, on the upside there are a few good spots to grab something if you need to take a break from working.
I like this one location but the music is a bit loud and obnoxious.
Pros: - Each table has brighter light compared to Montrose ones - Music not too loud - There is an hallway outside with AC so that you can have your lunch - Each booth is spacious - There are 2 restrooms inside and one big restroom in the hallway Cons: - Total space is small compared to Montrose one.
My new favorite switchyards location. Located in EaDo it’s brand new and located within another building where there are adjacent businesses. Plenty of study area and the private phone booths are cozy.
Exactly what I was looking for and I loved how easily I could sign-up. As a remote worker and grad school student, I needed another space outside of the house and away from the inconsistency of a coffee shop. I found it here! Extra points for the concept, decor and simple touches.
