I have been a loyal tenant in this building since 2018 and the way I have been treated under the current management has been unacceptable. Since being moved to another office in the building, I have dealt with property damage, air conditioning issues, internet outages, and unauthorized access to my space. Items were knocked over and broken with no explanation or accountability. The internet did not work for months and only got fixed because I continued to follow up. The air in my office still does not stay cool during the day and I have had to use fans during sessions just to make it workable. When the elevator went out of service, there was no advance notice. I had a client with a disability who was directly impacted. There was no communication to tenants ahead of time and no apology afterward. The only email that was sent came after I reached out to report the issue myself. That has happened multiple times. Things in the building stop working and no one informs tenants until after it is already a problem. The property manager never introduced herself, never communicated anything clearly, and has not followed through on what she said she would do. I met her for the first time last week and I have been here for a year. That speaks for itself. I am the only tenant left in this entire section and despite being here all this time, I have not been treated with any care or consistency. They are still trying to raise my rent without fixing the problems they promised to address when I was moved. If you are looking for a professional, well-managed office space where you and your business will be respected, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Have been very happy here at 1300 Bay Area Blvd. Building is clean, offices are spacious and the maintenance team and building staff are attentive and kind.

I am posting this as a small business owner based on what a fellow small business is currently going through with the landlord. It is a shame that a property as big as Boxer who has several properties in several states can't manage to honor their lease agreement by returning security deposits. My friend who rented a space from Boxer in this building has been having to fight tooth and nail to get their deposit back and it's crazy what they have had to go through. They have called no less than 15 times and have had to issue demand letters to try to get deposit back and it has been 1.5 months and they Boxer STILL has not refunded their deposit even though they were moved out on time and left the suite super clean without any damages. It's ridiculous how they are treating small businesses. Based on my friend's experience as a business owner I would not rent from this company. RENTER BEWARE!
