I enjoyed working a half day at a desk and easel. My internet went out for hours and I had to find a place to work for the rest of the day. They had a very nice set up, clean and everyone was really friendly. I'm thinking about going back a couple times a month just to get out of the house.

When looking for a temporary co-working space in the Sherman area, I came across Desk & Easel in Denison. Wendy was able to quickly setup an appointment to allow me to tour the space. She is super kind, helpful and answered all my questions. I used this space for my work for 3 months while getting my home office built/prepared. It's located just off Main Street in Denison and is walking distance from several restaurants. The monthly prices are reasonable and the people working there are great. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to work!

I recently had the pleasure of spending time at Desk & Easel, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The historic downtown location, filled with natural light and local artwork, immediately set a creative tone. There are a variety of coworking options that cater to different needs: I opted for the day rate in a shared space, but there are also private offices, a conference room, event space, even a recording studio — they have it all. I especially enjoyed reading on the breezy porch and the various spots for working outside. Wendy Acosta, the owner, has truly created a supportive and nurturing community. The people I met in the office are always fun, interested, and interesting, making for vibrant “water cooler chat.” Wendy even gave me an introduction to the Intuition Painting sessions she offers — what an incredible way to surface what’s inside of oneself! Overall, Desk & Easel stands out as a coworking space that combines functionality with creativity and community. It’s not just a place to work; it’s a place to be inspired. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dynamic and supportive workspace in Denison.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Desk & Easel may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
