Common Desk spans 2 floors of Building 2, offering offices, flexible suites, and shared space to the intersection of University Park and Greenville Ave.

Two stars, skip the coffee. The space is fine, the coffee is not, and I wanted to like it but couldn't. It starts with the smell — burnt, not roasted-dark burnt but scorched-carafe burnt, the kind that means the pot sat on the warmer for hours. The taste follows through: bitter up front, sour on the back end, with a thin metallic edge that lingers, tasting less like coffee than like the water you'd use to rinse a coffee pot. The temperature is wrong too, lukewarm from the dispenser, neither fresh-hot nor iced but just tepid, and the body is watery from weak extraction or over-holding or both — no crema, no aroma, no reason to finish the cup. I tried it black and it was undrinkable, tried it with cream and sugar and it was still undrinkable, now just sweet, because no amount of dressing saves a bad base. For a workspace that markets community and hospitality, the coffee undercuts the whole pitch — it's the first thing you reach for and the first thing that disappoints.

Common Desk – Energy Square is hands down one of the best coworking spaces I’ve worked out of in Dallas. The customer service is exceptional, and a huge part of that is Jeremy Groves. Jeremy goes above and beyond—he’s proactive, responsive, and genuinely cares about creating a great experience for members. It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with that level of personal attention, and it makes a real difference day to day. The workspace amenities are top-tier: thoughtfully designed offices and common areas, great natural light, fast and reliable internet, excellent conference rooms, solid coffee, and a layout that actually supports deep work and collaboration. I’ve been coming to Common Desk at energy square since late 2024. It is such a great way to work a remote job with great parking, events, kind people, and a beautiful space. Even among other common desk locations this place stands out as my absolute favorite! The staff are the best here and I hope to be coming here for a long time yet.
