Switchyards Hyde Park is hands down the best coworking space I have ever worked from. The environment is thoughtfully designed, productive and full of great energy throughout the day. The amenities are top notch and everything you need to get work done is right at your fingertips. What really sets it apart though is the community. You are surrounded by motivated and creative people which makes every day inspiring. The staff is friendly and always makes sure everything runs smoothly. If you are looking for a coworking space in Austin, look no further than Switchyards Hyde Park.

lots of silly negative reviews.. so wanted to throw my two cents in. i absolutely love this place. it truly is so uniquely and thoughtfully designed, it feels like you’re working inside of an art installation or time capsule even. everyone is focused, friendly, respectful, and the overall energy is such a great balance of comfortable/homey and motivating. yes there are coffee shops and libraries out there.. try finding any available to you 24/7.. also many coffee shops don’t appreciate remote workers hanging out for more than an hour at a time. so yes, at least for me, a space like this is absolutely necessary! so much easier to get deep work done when you’re not stressed about whether or not you’ve overstayed your welcome as a barista stares you down from across the room lol. also just the entire idea behind creating spaces like this i think is so important, community is so needed esp for wfh’ers who can end up spending lots of time alone. grateful to this place and excited to see more spaces like this. as a native austinite can say switchyards is very much welcome in my neighborhood.❤️

What a waste of money. You pay to basically sit at a table. Library's are free, go to a coffee shop, sit and do work outside. I am so tired of everything being a "membership". This business wont last, truly. Its like all these millennial pop ups that stay for like half a year and close up shop.
Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Switchyards.
With a monthly membership, Switchyards - Owen's Garage offers 24/7 access to its workspace, allowing you to work at any hour that suits your schedule. Hourly and day passes, however, typically grant access during regular business hours only.
