Me and my dog are absolutely in LOVE with Work and Woof! My dog loves going to school every chance she gets! This place is amazing and I have nothing but great things to say about it! My dog started here at puppy camp when she was 4/5 months old and graduated to what I call big girl school(lol) and my dog is 2 now. Jill and her staff here are amazing and so so sweet and loving and caring of all the dogs! The communication is excellent! I love all the options to add on enrichment, a bath, nail trip, photos, treats, and so many other things! The monthly themed photos and art are my favorite and are so so cute! I love the enrichment option and nail trims are an excellent plus to add on as well. This month they are doing a Valentines exchange for the dogs! I mean come on that’s just the best thing ever and so fun to do! I’ve worked from here a number of times while my dog attended daycare and it was great- no issues with the WiFi there’s snacks and coffee if needed and you have your own room to work from. There is even an option now to rent out the fenced yard on your own time which was a great option I used to do a meet and greet with a family for a dog I was fostering! She had plenty of space and time to warm up and go at her own pace to meet new people! The daycare is amazing I could go on and on about how excellent this place is! If you were ever looking for a daycare that will take care of your dogs and love them as much as you do then DEFINITELY sign up here! You and your dog will love it as much as we do!

I’ve only been coming here a few days, but it already feels like home. From the first moment I walked in, the staff treated me with respect and kindness, never assumptions. As a blind professional with a guide dog, that matters a lot. Chloe gave me a tour without ever panicking or grabbing me; instead she used clear, helpful directions (“the mugs are above the K-cups,” “a bit higher”) and let me orient myself. That level of respect is rare and so appreciated. The team has a text line for support, which makes asking for help super easy (I personally have a difficult time asking verbally for help for fear of inconveniencing people). On day two, my guide dog, Odie, got to go play outside while I worked—she had the time of her life splashing in a kiddie pool and running with the other dogs, and I got to focus in a quiet workspace knowing she was happy and safe. The owner, Jill, is wonderful—welcoming, attentive, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She asked what I needed without ever assuming, and just treated me like a person (imagine that!). As a fellow ADHDer, she gets it, and it shows in how this place is set up. A note for potential members: the dogs usually come in around 10-11 AM, so you’ll hear some barking. The staff are upfront about this on their website and do their best to minimize it, but dogs will be dogs. Personally, I haven’t found it distracting (and I get distracted by everything). Plus, you can reserve a full office with a door, which works perfectly for me—it gives you privacy and quiet while still being part of the community. And honestly? I live in North Austin. I could probably find coworking spaces closer to home and cut my paratransit rides in half. But I keep coming here because the way I’m treated—as a professional, as a disabled person, as a whole human being—is massive. That kind of dignity is rare, and it’s worth the extra miles, even if I'm in a paratransit van longer. Work and Woof isn’t just a coworking space; it’s a place where people and dogs thrive. The atmosphere is warm, the people are thoughtful, and the little touches (like meeting me when my Metro Access ride drops me off) go a long way. If you’re looking for a space in Austin that combines productivity, community, and joy—this is it.

I dropped off my dog for evaluation day and she loved it!! She was a little nervous at first (me too) since it was her first time at daycare but the staff did a great job at giving me updates as needed. I love that they post all the dogs on Instagram🤩

My dog LOVES coming here! And when I say love...I mean love! He has jumped out my car window when we pull up just to get inside. (Don't worry, the car was stopped and he was safe) The care that Jill and her team give to Jackson is unmatched. We have been coming here since Jackson was old enough to come. We were recommended this place by some friends and haven't been disappointed. He gets the enrichment he needs, all the zoomies he can handle and incredible socialization with all types and sizes of other dogs. An extra perk is getting to work from there on occasion. The coworking spaces are great and the team makes sure we are hooked up with snacks and coffee to keep us running. So incredibly thankful for Jill and her team for all they do!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Work & Woof.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Work & Woof, who is more than happy to help out.
