I definitely see the appeal of Switchyards. If you like the idea of working from a coffee shop, but want something more intentionally built for productivity, this is a solid option. You get the coffee shop feel, but with better work-focused amenities, a quieter environment, private rooms for calls or meetings, and even a larger back room where a small group could sit down and present or collaborate. It is probably a great fit for someone who lives nearby, wants to get out of the house, and likes having a dedicated place to work without going into a traditional office. There is also a community element, so I could see it being useful for casual networking as well. For me personally, it is not a perfect fit because I prefer a more complete workstation with multiple screens. Switchyards is really better suited for laptop work, maybe with a small portable monitor, but not a full desktop setup. Overall, not 100% for my work style, but I understand the value. For the right person, especially someone who enjoys quiet coffee shop-style workspaces with extra amenities, Switchyards makes a lot of sense.

Great place to show up and work. On the second floor with a decent amount of windows.

Switchyards is a fantastic co-working option! I love having access to all their locations around Nashville and being able to pop it any of them and get things done at a pretty high level of productivity. Here are my two personal favorite praises: 1. Not just outlets at every seat, GOOD outlets at every seat! If you've ever worked in public communal places, like coffee shops, you know the struggle of a getting a 96 watt macbook charger to stay in the wall. That problem doesn't exist here! 2. Its amazingly clean! Of course first impression is that its an overall clean space. One day however, I stayed a little bit after 5pm when much of the crowd leaves and I witnessed a entire cleaning team come in and go to town. I promise that there is not a single square inch of this place that does not get wiped, swept, or dusted. Its quite the show. Other quick notes: The vibes are great and the designer did a fantastic job! Every location is great but my particular favorite is Sylvan Park. I've never had an issue with parking at any of them (even on busier days). If you use the space, the subscription cost is very easily justifiable from the self serve coffee, tea, and stroopwaffel bar alone! The reservable phone boxes and meeting rooms are very nice and very convenient. If you're considering a co-work space, the 1$ for a week trial is the "worth it" thing in the city!

For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.
