Chimney Techs

We were looking for a single shared co-working space. When Mario sent the contract it was for three co-working spaces in three different offices. We did not catch it and signed the contract. Now we are stuck with three separate co-working spaces in three different offices. We asked if they would help us by correcting this and they offered to upgrade us to a private office for additional fees. We did not want that, we wanted a co-working space. They refused any other solution. We suggested lengthening our contract to 18 months on one space instead of 6 months for three. Hard no. We spoke to Diedre, Mario's supervisor and got no help there either. These are not good people to do business with. They will also stick fees on your invoice for things that you already said that you did not want. Not a fan. UPDATE: The day after the reply to this review, I actually did file a help desk ticket. A week after that, on February 19 I replied to an email I had gotten a week earlier when I had opened the ticket and asked if there was any progress. I was told in a reply email that they were going to investigate the claim and that they would get back to me. It appears from what I saw that the help desk was overseas. I have not heard anything back after that email. It appears to me that it should not take three weeks to make an investigation into this as it is pretty straightforward. I also mentioned that we had a recording of one of their employees saying (after the fact) that she knew that we were only wanting one space and had told them that already. From what I have seen so far, it appears that they are just going to hold us to a contract that we did not ask for. Beware doing business with this organization.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Regus - Memphis - Colonnade operates during regular business hours, which are listed above. For any requests or requirements outside of these hours, please contact the coworking operator directly.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Regus.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
