***Update*** Adding back 1 star after prompt response from the Create Appalachia team, and swift refund of the charge. ***Update*** Lowering from 3 stars to 2 stars because I was charged after my agreed upon move out time after me giving more than 30 days notice AND moving out fully 48 hours before the last day. Super disappointed with my treatment as a customer. ***Original review*** This establishment boasts a great concept with immense potential for a unique working experience. However, during my one-year tenancy, shared with only one other resident (a colleague), the property’s potential was overshadowed by disappointing on-ground leadership. The management’s approach negatively impacted our working experience, leading both of us to eventually leave. The treatment we received was not up to par, calling for a re-evaluation of the property's day-to-day operations and leadership style. Examples: - Lack of cleaning staff - fruit fly infestation - Intermittent internet outages that impacted my business - Short term fixes for the wrong internet infrastructure (which resulted in bottlenecks in my internet service) in my office resulting in an ethernet cord hanging from the ceiling for the last 4 months of my time - never being fixed or addressed - Treatment that of a student/professor relationship rather than customer/business one I genuinely hope for an improvement in management, allowing the establishment to truly shine and offer the remarkable residence it has the potential to be. With more attentive and tenant-friendly leadership, this place could undoubtedly become a sought-after property for future tenants.
