I met a couple of friends here for lunch on Sunday. We all came from different parts of Tennessee and chose this as our meeting spot because we had eaten here a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It seems like the menu has changed since our last visit. The food was okay, but it just wasn’t quite the same experience we remembered, so we’ll probably try somewhere different the next time we meet up. The staff was friendly, and I really appreciated how welcoming they were to my dog. She absolutely loved her hamburger - so she might give them a higher rating than I did. 🐾🍔 Overall, it was still a nice place to catch up with friends, just not quite what we remembered from before.

The atmosphere is cute, but that’s about the best thing for this coffee place. The food took forever for my party of three (about 20 mins for each of us), and when it did get there it was just so-so. The hot coffee and pastries seem to be the best thing in this place while everything else feels like a let-down. Not to mention the issue with ordering!! Sat at a table, then was promptly ignored to the extent that we walked back up to the front to try and place an order, only to be ignored by every worker until we spoke up and got told we needed a table (which we had!). Very frustrating process having to herd our waiter back to our table simply to order coffee and a pastry. Also had to re-ask for an online order that was entirely forgotten! Normally not a review-writer, but I feel like everyone should know not to have too high expectations for this place. I encourage you to go the four minutes farther to The Fainting Goat, where service is excellent and the food/drinks are delicious and definitely worth the price!

Delicious coffee, cute cafe with lots of seating, and super friendly service!! I loved the Colombia pour over and my husband loved the Monkey Mocha (awesome latte art as well!). Would definitely recommend a visit!
