Another new favorite place! We had a wrap and a croissant sandwich. They were both very good! The Apple Pie Freeze was amazing as well. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We are already planning a time to go again!

I live 5 minutes away so this really hurts but this place needs an overhaul. I’ve been coming here since summer ‘23 and they are consistently disappointing. It doesn’t matter if they are packed or empty it always takes forever for our 2 ice coffees (black) and we stopped ordering food because we don’t have an hour to spend on waiting for a club sandwich :( We went in recently to give it our quarterly shot as we do every few months and I noticed that the prices have gone up significantly but the service is still slow as heck. I don’t feel the quality of food/service warrants such a price increase but that’s none of my business I’m just a customer. As a resident of Dover I rather go the extra couple minutes in town to get my coffee elsewhere. Be warned if you come here you will be waiting a long time no matter what you order !

The ladies up front were very nice. Made me a very good custom coffee. Cannoli was amazing. Place is nice an clean. A+

I am Hive’s regular customer. I typically order a take out at least once a week with an occasional dine-in. They have some really good menu items for both breakfast and lunch. My latest favorite is Jalepeno Poppa sandwich. And if you’re a fan of brownies Hive carries truly the best salted caramel brownies I’ve ever had. Naturally in 5 years there have been some irregularities or mixups, but what keeps me impressed and loyal is how above and beyond they go to correct any mistakes. Just yesterday I ordered breakfast to go and had to wait quite a long time even when I got there. There were couple more people that also waited. All of us were offered a free pastry of our choice. To me personally attitude means everything in the service industry. And positive accountability isn’t a common thing these days. Definitely support this local cafe!
