We rented the space for my mom’s 70th birthday and everyone LOVED it! The guests were blown away by the unique space. It was perfectly set up for our group of 50 people. Coordinating prior to the event was super easy and the staff was incredibly helpful/thought of everything. Our guests all commented on how beautiful the space was and just a warm lovely setting. The kitchen and amenities made hosting super easy too. Will definitely host in this space again.

Cannot recommend this space enough! I brought my 6 month old to Joyful Commons while I worked and it was the perfect setup that allowed me to be present and focused with work as well as to my daughter. There is a private phone booth available for booking to take calls, strong wifi, a full kitchen for any of you’re food prep / storage needs and the most warm community of other people using the space. Cannot wait to go back.

I had been searching for the right venue to host a client appreciation event in the Pittsburgh area for a while that didn't come with a crazy minimum spend, allowed you to set up the space however you wanted, and also looked and felt intimate...Joyful Commons nailed it! I hosted 23 clients and friends for a casual weeknight dinner (my husband catered!), collage activity and a prosecco nightcap...and it was literally perfect. We had plenty of time to setup, got to plug our music into their speaker system, and the gorgeous kitchen gave us plenty of space to prep and serve guests. Bathrooms were huge, and we also had plenty of room for our interactive photo booth. One of my favorite parts of the night was seeing my guests' reactions when they first arrived: They all loved it, and felt instantly comfortable and excited to be there. I truly believe that the space you choose to host gatherings, parties, and events in sets the tone for the mood and energy of the occasion. If you're looking for somewhere that's flexible, welcoming, and doesn't sacrifice vibes, Joyful Commons is it!

We recently hosted a networking event at Joyful Commons and the experience was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful, historic, and had everything we needed. Jade was incredibly detail-oriented and anticipated our every need. Setup was seamless and stress-free. Our guests loved the atmosphere, and it truly made an impression. Highly recommend Joyful Commons for any meeting, workshop, or event!

Joyful Commons has been such a huge help and amazing find! I was thinking I’d have to quit my full time job until I found Joyful Commons. They provide supervised play for my son while I can get work done. I am able to schedule meetings and calls without having my baby trying to climb on me the whole time. Joyful commons has been a perfect solution when other childcare options weren’t available. I also love that I won’t miss any of his milestones since I am still spending the day with him. All of the employees at Joyful commons are so sweet and have great to work with and I completely trust them. I live about 35 minutes away and the drive is totally worth it to be able to have uninterrupted hours of work. I align my drive time with my son’s naps and it has worked out so well. They also are very conscious of cleanliness. My son is in the stage where everything goes into his mouth. The workers will set aside every single toy that he’s put in his mouth to clean at the end of the day. I appreciate that attention and dedication to making sure all the kids stay healthy!
