This place is super cool and unique but the bartender was not friendly at all.

I want to like this place… but I’ve gone for the third time and more than half the food places were closed or “not taking orders”. The tents are not welcoming at all, of course I understand they accommodate during the winter. I’ve come on nights where it should be busy but it never seems to be busy enough to have places stop taking orders. It’s a cool location and building and I wish it maybe had more options so that if places aren’t open or are not taking orders, you still have plenty options that aren’t just burgers, fries, beer or pizza.

Fish and chips were ok but overpriced. Didn’t look like the ones in the picture on the review that I saw before coming so I wanted to update it with a picture of the ones I actually got . Busy place. Lots of seating. Cool building but likely won’t be back.

This plate of orange chicken was $18 (not including tip). We eat out quite a bit and this was such a small portion of food, and nothing special. The outdoor seating is lovely, it’s counter service, but the food isn’t worth the price. If you’re looking for a delicious meal that hits the spot, this isn’t it. Other Hawaiian foods in town give almost double the portion and it tastes far better.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with PublicHouse.

  • Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.

While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to PublicHouse to discuss accommodating your adjustments.

  • Whether you need a short-term workspace solution or something more permanent, PublicHouse - 418 A Street has you covered. Meeting Rooms are available by the hour. But you can book Day Passs and Meeting Rooms for an entire day.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.
