Nice rooms decor, lacks coffee in room, free breakfast.
Was there for a paint party, but going back to the roof top bar. Beautiful place.
Bed and pillows were really excellent. Lobby bar and bartender were relaxing and cool.
I have stayed here many, many times over the years. A previous employer always booked my stays in Redmond here and although it wasn't always the most comfortable for a long term stay, it has a great vibe and atmosphere and the rooms are very nice. My fiance and I are planning to move to the area and wanted to go for a visit to see the town as we live on the coast and he's never spent time in Central Oregon like I have. I booked us a room at SPC for nostalgic reasons for me. I had fond memories of the feel of the place. I was sad to see the hanging chairs were gone but the old self-playing piano and switch board were interesting. I was very happy the reading and game room was still there but disappointed that the elevator was broken throughout our stay. It used to be broken often when I stayed years ago, some things don't change. The staff was not as friendly but were helpful. The rooms and views make it worth the stay. I've yet to eat at their rooftop restaurant that is very popular as I was either too tired and alone or this time it was closed for good reason as the wildfire smoke was unsafe to breath much less dine in. All in all it was a wonderful stay, dont be deterred by the sound machine and ear plugs that are in each room, I've yet to need them. If you're looking for a posh stay with a funky vibe, this is your place!
Love staying at this hotel. However, the last time we stayed was in 2024 for a wedding and again in 2026. Both times, the elevators are in operable and we’ve been placed on the third floor. The extra steps do us good, although my husband has mobility issues and I have a broken arm this trip. I think this is one thing any visitor should check upon arriving. Also, not every room has a microwave although it’s advertised as such. Really love this place but the consistency is just not there. You know you have elevator problems, convert to modern mechanics or stock parts if this is a continuum. Not every channel is offered as advertised on TV either but that’s not much of a critique because we are not here to watch TV. Also, ifstaying here for a group event, check in advance to make sure the lobby bar and the rooftop bar will be open for your group. Things tend to close early without notice. We usually love this place but the last couple of times we’ve been disappointed.
