I visited Life Time Beaverton after calling ahead to confirm that I could purchase a day pass as a walk-in. I was told over the phone that it was possible, and I also saw information on the website indicating day passes were available. When I arrived, I asked Kelly at the front desk about purchasing a day pass. She immediately told me, “We don’t do day passes,” and when I explained that I had called ahead, she responded that they don’t offer them and said she didn’t know who would have told me otherwise. The interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. There was no attempt to clarify the situation, offer alternatives, or make me feel like a potential customer. I had come intending to sign up for a membership, but instead I was left feeling like I was being brushed off. Didn’t even explain what they day pass is for they have listed on their website. I stepped away to check the information on my phone and later spoke with another staff member, but that interaction also felt unhelpful and unwelcoming. Thankfully, Dylan completely changed my experience. He treated me with respect, listened to what had happened, and took the time to find out whether there were any options available. He explained that booking a massage or haircut would give me access to the spa and other amenities I wanted to use. He also apologized for my experience and even offered to give me a tour of the facility. That’s the kind of customer service I expected from the beginning. As a Black customer, I know the difference between an honest misunderstanding and being treated differently. The interactions with Kelly, in particular, made me feel unwelcome, and it was difficult not to question whether race played a role. After reading other reviews mentioning similar concerns about discrimination, I found my experience even more troubling. I was genuinely interested in becoming a member, but first impressions matter. I left feeling embarrassed and questioning whether this is an environment where everyone is truly welcomed. I hope management takes customer service and concerns about discrimination seriously, because Dylan showed that treating people with professionalism and respect is not difficult.
I’ve been a member at Life Time Work for nearly three years, and I can confidently say it has been an exceptional experience from day one. The space is beautifully designed modern, clean, and consistently well maintained. It truly creates an environment that makes you want to be productive and present every day. What stands out the most is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for members. It never feels transactional it feels like a community. Life Time also goes above and beyond with thoughtful details and amenities. From the quality of the tea and refreshments to the events they host, it is clear they care about the little things that make a big difference. This place has become more than just a workspace and gym for me it is a community I am grateful to be part of. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium, well rounded experience.
This place is amazing. I have worked on many different fields, in a bunch of different work spaces. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with the staff there to help you with whatever you need. The space is clean and full of natural light and places to work if you want different scenery then your office. The amenities are vast as well. Only place I have worked where I enjoy going to!
AJ rocked the set up process (along with Brandon) AJ went above and beyond helping me with day 1 problems. Even helping me after working out (after 6pm). To say this place is amazing is because of the dedication of the LTW team led by Brandon.
