I’m sharing my experience with Regus at the Euclid Center in Ohio so others can be aware of how billing and payment issues are handled. When I signed my agreement, I declined autopay and was charged a retainer specifically because I did not want a default payment method on file. My understanding was that I would receive invoices and could pay them manually. Later, Regus automatically charged my card for an invoice without my clear consent. I did not knowingly authorize my card to be used as a recurring default payment method. I disputed that charge with my bank as unauthorized and immediately removed my card as the default payment method in the Regus portal. After that, Regus added a third retainer to my account and informed me that they would only credit part of it back if I put a new default payment method on file. In other words, after an automatic charge I considered unauthorized, they tied getting some of my money back to my willingness to place a new card on autopay. I raised my concerns multiple times in writing. I was told that their manager had reviewed it and that there was nothing more they could do, no further escalation, and no “custom adjustments” to billing. I was also told that if I left the office and returned badges, they would still continue to invoice me through the end of the agreement as a breach, even while the billing dispute remained unresolved. My main issues are the unauthorized use of my card, the additional retainer applied after I removed my card and disputed the charge, and the refusal to address these concerns without forcing me back into autopay. This experience has left me feeling that my payment information was not handled in a way I could trust. I would encourage anyone considering this location to read the billing terms very carefully, get everything in writing, and be extremely cautious about how your payment methods are used and stored.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Regus to discuss accommodating your adjustments.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Regus.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
