We are a small company who has used several small office/co-working spaces in the Cincinnati area over the past 9 years. This one was by far the worst. First, the billing issues you see in other reviews are unfortunately real. You will mostly likely sign an agreement for a certain rate, and then get overcharged. It's difficult to get the overcharging to stop - and once that happens, good luck getting the money back. On top of that, the place is in a constant state of disrepair. There are persistent issues with heat/ac and door locks - and the coffee machines never work. If that's not enough to keep you away, there's also all of the extra charges. If the machines worked, coffee would be $1/cup, printing is awkward and expensive, there are no available phone booth/huddle rooms, and you pay extra for every single hour of meeting room time. These are all things that competitors include access to when you rent a private office. And the office prices here are at least as high, if not higher than the competition.

Strike 1 - cafe/coffee machines are false advertising, never work Strike 2 - take away rooftop access Strike 3 - overcharge us and never fix it Strike 4 - let the place fall apart (wobbly staircases, lights burn out, etc.) Strike 5 - raise rates while lowering amenities/quality Strike 6 - charge more for conference rooms than anyone else in the area Strike 7 - get no answers from anyone Wait, how many strikes are there? ————————— STRIKE 8 - you can’t even take the time to respond, so you have automatic AI responses to these reviews. Sums up the customer service perfectly.

Do you love hidden fees? Do you love being over charged? Do you love having to fight to get your money back and credits applied to your next bill? Do you love constant maintenance problems? Do you love having a coffee machine that breaks down all the time? Do you love paying an arm and a leg for conference rooms? Do you love having no customer support, no help, and no one to answer your questions? Then Spaces OTR is the place for you. This place has been nothing but a headache. There is zero accountability and support when there is an issue. I highly recommend going anywhere else - literally, anywhere else. There are 2 other co-working space options in OTR - go there instead and save yourself a lot of money and a ton of trouble! RESPONSE TO SPACES: We have submitted numerous tickets to the Help Desk regarding our billing issues and to date have still not received any resolution.

My company rented a private office from SPACES in August 2024 - December 2025. This was the typical bait & switch... After months there we were hit with unexpected fees that were never communicated, random fees that were not warranted. Restricted access to roof top, door issues, temperature controlled issues, and most importantly severally overdrafted rent issues. The biggest issue of all is that when we would appropriately ask the community employees about the issues we were never given any concrete answers, sometimes given mixed answers and most often no response. We were overcharged for rent over 5 different times while being here and then had to fight to receive our reimbursement back. The only good part about this place during our time there was the old community manager, Toyia King - she was flat out amazing and is nothing short of a saint! Once she moved from SPACES OTR this place is an absolute 0/5. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Very disappointing experience We’ve been renting an office at Spaces Over The Rhine (Cincinnati) for over a year. In September, we accepted a new offer with updated fees effective from November 1, yet we were charged higher fees than agreed in the contract, including retroactively. Despite months of emails, the issue still remains unresolved (for more than 3 months now). After we successfully won a chargeback, the same amount was added to our account as “outstanding debt”, which is just unacceptable. This situation has been ongoing since September and, based on a similar review here by Ric Johnson, appears to be systemic rather than a one-off case. Responses from the City Manager (Laura) and Deputy City Manager (Toyia) were limited to formal, template-like replies, without any real effort to address a simple contract-based issue. Serious concerns about billing transparency and customer support. Not recommended for businesses expecting clear contracts and fair treatment.
