We launched our startup as members of Biolabs@NYU Langone. I truly believe that this was the best decision we could have made for our small business. The staff is incredibly supportive, and the facilities and equipment available were everything we needed to get our operation up and running. There are lots of Biolabs sponsored events and opportunities to meet fellow residents, as well as members of the broader NYC biotech community. The site director Julia does an excellent job keeping residents informed about networking opportunities and other events of interest around the city. The lab manager Allison really knows her stuff and helped us navigate important regulatory filings and keep our chemical inventories in order. As a small business we also really appreciated having access to purchasing through Biolabs Marketplace, so that we could get better pricing on reagents and consumables. The on site ThermoFisher supply center was also amazing when we needed something at the last minute. There’s also plenty of conference room space, phone booths, and even a wellness room where one can enjoy a little peace and quiet to de-stress. I highly recommend Biolabs@NYU Langone! They were instrumental in helping nurture our small company as we grew into a successful independent operation.
The best team and the best space!
BioLabs@NYULangone is a nice place for the R@D companies. There's a lot of lab facilities. People are kind especially Julia and Tina.

The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.
A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.
It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
-
While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.
-
Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with BioLabs, who is more than happy to help out.
