I haven’t worked out of many coworking spaces before, but I’ve spent a lot of time in different corporate offices, and The Malin Flatiron has completely changed my perception of what a workspace can feel like. It has set an incredibly high standard for coworking spaces. The space is beautifully designed and incredibly thoughtful. Between the two floor layout, skylights, natural light, comfortable furniture, and variety of spaces to work from, it’s an environment that genuinely makes you feel more productive and inspired throughout the day. What really makes The Malin special, though, is the team. They are all exceptional. Everyone is warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for members. The attention to detail throughout the space, including small touches like the fresh banana bread in the mornings, makes this place stand out from anywhere else I’ve worked. Easily my favorite place to work when I am in New York City.

Visited The Malin Flatiron with my service dog on a day pass and was told she couldn’t be on the carpeted area by the seating, even though a lot of the workspace is carpeted. This is not consistent with ADA service‑dog access. Furniture, I understand, but the carpet is different: telling me my service dog cannot be on the carpeted floor where everyone else is allowed to sit and work effectively denies me access. The front desk staffer also stared at my dog with obvious discomfort until I had to ask her not to distract her, which left me feeling unwelcome as a disabled visitor.

Just an unbelievably thoughtful workspace. Every single detail is just perfect. There are two floors, with endless little nooks to work from. Skylights on the upper floor make it feel even better. All of the furniture is so comfortable, it makes you not want to leave. From the oat milk only espresso machine, to the hydration packets, you know those high-class thick napkins in the bathroom with nice soaps and hand lotion, everything just feels so high end because it is. If you get there early enough, look out for that pumpkin or banana bread, and enjoy those cookies at 2PM. Everyone that works there is mad friendly. The design of the space is impeccable and it attracts a certain kind of person. The place is basically brand new, and with the Equinox downstairs, this is possibly the greatest building in the city for getting work done. Best decision I've made for 2026
