This is a 10/10 co-working space and it is super well run. It has everything you need all the time and the staff are amazing. They are extremely attentive, friendly, reasonable, and on top of things. You are in extremely good hands with Jana, Ethan, Kristen, Diana, and Torin. I've worked in a lot of places but this is by far the tippity top.

Amazing location and an incredibly professional and friendly team. Hands down the best coworking space I’ve ever joined.

I knew the Malin Flatiron was the one within an hour of touring the space. I can honestly say it’s the best coworking space I’ve ever been to (and I toured quite a few coworking spaces!!) The community here is exceptional. Everyone is friendly, ambitious, and genuinely interesting. It’s one of the few workspaces where it feels effortless to strike up a convo in the kitchen with someone new and people really engage with you. There’s a warm and open energy in the space that’s really hard to find elsewhere. The space itself is stunning. The design, the furniture, the lighting... everything feels elevated, intentional, and incredibly comfortable. It’s the kind of environment that makes you want to come into the office and be productive. I’ve worked out of a lot of co-working spaces, and none have felt as thoughtfully put together as this one. I'm personally a 4th floor fan but the 5th floor is also really beautiful with it's open skylights. The snacks deserve their own paragraph. Banana bread in the mornings, afternoon treats, and the legendary Wednesday cookie.. I don’t know what they put in them, but they’re the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. They disappear within minutes because everyone loves them so much. And the front desk team is truly the heart of this place. Jana (the office manager), Diana, Ethan, Torin and Kristen are all so down-to-earth, fun, friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in making the space wonderful for members. Special shoutout to my girl Kristen, who is one of the warmest, funniest people you’ll ever meet. She puts so much thought and creativity into building community and hosting events (Jeopardy night is iconic!). Not to mention her wicked sense of humor (her band name is The Women’s National Hockey League and not a single member in the band plays hockey). Plus, she plays the harmonica and guitar *at the same time*! Can you save some talent for the rest of us Kristen? It’s clear the entire team truly loves what they do, and it makes a huge difference. The Malin Flatiron is beautiful, yes, but it’s the people that make it feel special. Could not recommend it more!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Malin Flatiron is open during regular business hours listed above. For any other requirements, make sure to contact the operator directly.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with The Malin.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with The Malin, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Reach out here to set up a time to come and see the space.
