NY City Bar association (different from the state association), where they held a recent event swearing in the new 149th President of the New York State Bar, Taa Grays. Lots of history in the halls, a learning center, event and presentation room, plus good space to mix and mingle with folks. Lots of stairs but they do have elevators and lifts for those who need mobility help. While they were looking to kick us out quickly (the staff needed to close up), they still allowed many to get photos in and wrap up the occasion with attendees ranging from the State AG to the prior Presidents of the NYC and NY Bar.

Great organization for members of the bar. Good CLE and event hosting.

New York City Bar Association serves as a polished, professional venue for conferences and panel-style programs in Manhattan. During ACI’s Inaugural Healthcare AI Summit, the main room provided a formal backdrop with excellent sightlines to the screen and speakers. Audio and projection were clear, making slides and remarks easy to follow from across the space. Seating and table arrangements supported note-taking and discussion, and the overall layout helped keep sessions running on time. Check-in and movement between agenda items felt efficient, with staff and signage guiding attendees without confusion. The building’s classic architecture adds credibility and gravitas to subject matter at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy. Restrooms and common areas were maintained well throughout the day, and the environment remained quiet enough for focused listening while still allowing networking during breaks. Security at entry was straightforward, and the space accommodated a steady flow of guests without crowding. Lighting was comfortable for viewing presentations and taking photos throughout. The location is convenient for public transit and nearby dining, which is helpful for multi-session events. For organizations seeking a dignified setting with dependable A/V and a strong institutional atmosphere, this venue fits well. Photo from the summit is attached.

Useless, unhelpful, and misleading. Based on other reviews, I am not the only one who thinks they deceptive. Are you just there to collect free grants, because when people call, you have laymen answering the phone who know nothing about the law and just want to send you somewhere else. Their catch all excuse is that they don’t provide the services you are looking for. This is a crap excuse because you call yourself a justice center and yet you don’t have a single attorney who can talk to the caller for 10 minutes about NYSCEF and the court system. That’s unbelievable. It seems like you just use the interactions as statistics to claim grants. Most of the 5 star reviews here are from visitors and attendees, not people seeking help. This is how the ratings get skewed.

Horrible experience. I reached out to seek assistance or resources on how to go about a divorce case. The representative that reached out to me was very insensitive, was rushing the information given to where I couldn’t even write down what was being said and had a horrible attitude. If I’m calling your agency, I’m calling seeking help, there’s absolutely no reason why someone should be having an attitude when on the phone. Or should they be interrupting me when I’m answering a question asked. Find better people to handle these phone calls. A lot of us don’t have the time to deal with unnecessary nonsense from insensitive individuals.
