I stopped by to look at the office before signing up. The front-desk staff were rude and wouldn’t let me up to see the space or schedule another time. They just didn’t want to help. I won’t be back, check out other coworking spots instead.

As a business owner, I would not recommend industrious and particularly the Hudson Yards/Equinox location. Bad staffing, bad training, expensive prices, constant private events during normal business hours affecting the ability of other guests to enjoy the common areas, unnecessarily restrictive policies and too few/too crowded common areas are only a few of the issues you will encounter. If you are planning on having clients or other guests over and need proper service I would recommend a Servcorp location. Industrious Hudson Yards and their staff will likely lose you customers and trust.

With the very best architecture and locations in the U.S. new management is targeting new members and evicting them. The situation seems to be related to the current shift in assets of othe Coworking spaces such as We Work and other CoWorking spaces. I just spoke with Regional Manager Angel White who is on vacation and working remotely to tell me I was evicted. They are abusing landlord rights and can only stall in their private space for so long. Not sue what happened there but it's a U.S. Federal case now. Please take notes and prepare to deal with legal issues, NDA's and possible bankruptcy.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Industrious - 31 Hudson Yards and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Industrious, who is more than happy to help out.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Industrious.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.
