I really like this property. Location is fantastic. It’s in a great part of the city with lots to do and see. Staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms, although compact, work really well and provide a great value for the dollar. The lounge downstairs is great. There’s also a rooftop and great restaurant there. I’d highly recommend

Best hotel in NYC! Best vibe, best staff and great location!

The room was super small. If you are in the city, and just need a place to sleep, this is good, but if you need any space, there is not much. They also were doing some type of construction/loud banging right above my bed early in the morning, however, my biggest complaint and issue I had with the hotel wasn't the room size, but they tell you upon checking in that you're given a credit at their restaurant, BUT they do NOT apply it and charge you the full amount at the restaurant. The only reason I went to it was to use up the credit, and didn't get notification that the full amount was charged until I had checked out. It seems it's just a marketing tactic to get you into the restaurant. The staff at the front is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they are the reason the service wasn't 1 star, but overall, I was not impressed and would not stay here again.

It’s simply too loud from the nearby venues- loud, LOUD music and screaming until 6am. I have chronic pain condition that heavily is impacted by lack of sleep. I have gotten 2 hours each night if I am lucky. Would never stay here again. I mean this genuinely- why are the rooms not sound proofed with so many venues nearby?? The hallway is sound proofed- I am tempted to go sleep in the hallway of the hotel so I can actually rest. DO NOT stay here.

This is more like a glorified youth hostel, not a 4 star hotel. I guess it is fine if you are a single traveler with a backpack but it is ridiculously uncomfortable for more than one person with luggage. The check-in process makes no sense. They tell everyone to come back at 4pm and when you do there is a line down a hot hallway and down stairs since there is no lobby. The process resembles a rental car counter with the employees staring at their screens while the line grows. The only redeeming quality is the location.
