The team at the Moxy is the best. We checked in in the evening with 3 very tired children, and the manager at the front desk immediately engaged with them, gave them a bunch of little trinkets that they loved, and totally made their evening and whole stay. The team is really great. The lounge area is super comfy, the breakfast pastries are fantastic in the morning, and of course you are right in between the east village and Union square, so accessible to everything. Great place to stay.

Had to edit my review from a few years ago which was also 5 stars! Just got back from my 2nd stay with Moxy East Village and had just as an amazing stay as years ago! Room was very clean and super quiet for NYC! Shoutout Jocelyn at check in!!! Will be back again Moxy! Thank you!

Love this spot. Second time I’ve stayed. Rooms are tiny but it’s NYC this is expected. This hotel has everything you could ask for a decent cocktail bar, lounge, clean rooms, and NYC friendly-ish service. It’s right across from Webster Hall - big plus if you are heading there for a show.

Moxy East Village is in the ideal location for us as a lot of our favorite bars and restaurants are within a ten minute walk in all directions. The staff here are fantastic and very welcoming. Nicky was awesome. She was super-nice and we were able to check in early. Carmen was also great when we checked out. Both women were awesome as well as all the staff we encountered. The room was small but cozy and set up nicely to maximize space. Comfy bed with a nice view and a great shower. Very cool common areas also. We will definitely be staying here again.
