Ithaca in general is going downhill fast with no signs of stopping but this place is decent. It is in the commons where crime has been on the rise. I feel safer walking alone in NYC at night than I do in the parking garage for this building. The parking garage attached to the building (which is owned by the city) is disgusting. It is constantly full of human waste (literally every form you can imagine) and needles which will maybe get cleaned up 2x a year, no matter how many times you complain to the booth workers or city. Even once they clean it, it’s quickly replaced by more needles and human waste. I personally had to call 911 MULTIPLE times after finding someone ODing in the staircase. As far as the apartment building itself goes, the tenants are nuts. My first year in the building I had an ongoing issue with my neighbor who would constantly bang on the shared wall, file noise complaints against me and call the cops on me. There were multiple occasion where the cops were called about the noise coming from my apartment and I wasn’t even home (I lived alone and had no pets). This past winter we lost heat for multiple weeks in February, the coldest month of the year. Management did their best to rectify the issue but it was not enough. The space heater they provide was insufficient for the size of the apartment and I did everything I could not to be home. They did not provide a discount in rent or offer a hotel room until the problem was fixed. The apartment got so cold the thermostat (which was super old and dated) was unable to even read how cold the apartment was, the needle was as far as it could be to the cold side. Once it got hot again the central air would not work. My apartment was 95° for 2 weeks before they even offered me a portable AC for my apartment. Again not sufficient for the size of the apartment. It was another 2 weeks before that issue was resolved and at that point my lease was up and I had no intention of renewing it. I would say avoid at all cost but hey it’s Ithaca, that’s 5⭐️s for that city’s standards.

It’s an amazing place to live in. The staff is great and really nice, everybody was always available and happy to help with anything. Dream team. It's also a great location, everything is within walking distance (restaurants, convenience stores, coffe shops, bus stops, Cornell campus, etc). I totally recommend Center Ithaca.
Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Bank Tower Offices.
Adaptability is at the core of coworking, so membership options are always designed to cater to your changing work requirements and team dynamics. Most spaces offer month-to-month memberships, enabling you to adjust your workspace to your changing needs. Whether your business is growing or downsizing – or you just want to upgrade to a more private setting – you always have the flexibility to make the changes you need.
While your membership agreement may have specific terms regarding changes, don’t hesitate to reach out to Bank Tower Offices to discuss accommodating your adjustments.
Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.
For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.
Want to get a feel for the workspace before signing up? Schedule a tour to experience Bank Tower Offices and envision your workday in this dynamic environment. All you need to do is fill out this form, indicating your preferred date and time, and we'll be happy to host you.
