I visited Alcove’s new Prospect Heights location on a recent trip to NYC. I meant to stay for an hour, ended up staying for two, I was getting so much work done! Excellent facility, tastefully decorated, quiet, lots of natural light, and comfortable, well-designed private work space. I look forward to using Alcove next time I’m in Brooklyn. (I can’t wait for Alcove to come to Atlanta!)

Absolutely stunning workspace for those of us who need a quiet place to work. I get so much done when I come here to work. You book a pod by the hour and each one includes blazing fast wifi, a monitor, standing desk, and comfy chair. Did I mention it’s super chic? It’s wonderful to have another location of this vital resource for the city’s information workers.

Long time customer of the park slope location, but this one is much closer. Still the fantastic work experience with full privacy and the super convenient on-demand booking. The price is a steal compared to anything else in the neighborhood. Also, the ambiance with the plants and the soft lighting makes even the most annoying phone calls just a bit better.

I was visiting NYC and needed a place to get some work done. Since I was giving an important business presentation, I needed a space with lots of privacy, and also the right setup. What sets Alcove apart is that they provide a wide-screen monitor for you to extend your desktop, multiple charging ports for your devices, and a sit-stand desk so that you can work in the position that's best for you. The staff also provides desk fans if you need more airflow in the pod. There's plenty of natural lighting that flows in through the windows, and extra lighting inside the pod as well. The lighting was perfect for giving my face the right "glow" as I was on camera for my presentation. The camera brings me to my next point. I have a suggestion: it would be awesome if Alcove could provide webcams! Fortunately, I brought my own. Overall, I had a great experience. The staff were very knowledgeable about the surrounding Prospect Heights neighborhood, and they even suggested some coffee shops that I could visit! I will definitely return to Alcove during my future visits to NYC.
