My colleague and I had booked a tour to check out this co-working space. Upon arrival, we were told that they weren't accepting new members but still offered to give us a tour of the space. We wished they had told us this before we took time out of our workday to go see the space - it felt disrespectful to our time. The actual space looked nice, though the private offices are way smaller than what they advertise - what they call a "4 person" office is really only suitable for 2 people, for example.

I’ve worked out of a few coworking places in Brooklyn, and Industrious is by far the best I’ve seen. It’s been a game-changer for my productivity—the interior design is nice, and having access to extra larger monitors so I dont have to bring my own is appreciated. The amenities are excellent, especially the food and beverage options. Having daily breakfast and unlimited coffee ready when I walk in, plus afternoon snacks, keeps me fueled without having to leave the building. The staff is top-notch—the manager, Richa, is really helpful and ensures everyone is taken care of. Highly recommended.

God forbid you move, because they will continue to charge you over $400 a month for your coworking membership (ps that’s the price, it’s outrageous) even if you can no longer physically get to the space and reached out in advance to tell them your change of circumstances. No flexibility or understanding or human decency honestly. They have a wait list to get in to this location, but rather than be empathetic because I unexpectedly had to move and allow someone WAITING to work there off the waitlist, they continue to harass me for money on a weekly basis. I understand contracts, but I also understand that life happens and people move. You’ve gotta have a policy for that. Get with it. In my time there, there was never a consistent person at the front desk for more than a few weeks and the building is falling apart, WiFi often broken, no sense of community. Cannot emphasize enough how much I would stay away from this mess of a place.

Decided to try this out since I was in the area looking at apartments, and I would be looking for a coworking space if I move to the area. I attempted to reach out to schedule a tour and start a trial, and received only automated messages with a broken Calendly link. The phone number provided only went straight to voicemail, and no one ever called me back. Since I had to be in the area anyway, I decided to show up and try to speak to the front desk person to see if I can try the space out and take a couple meetings while I looked around. After a quick tour, I began my meeting, but 15 minutes into it the front desk person interrupted my zoom meeting to tell me I had to leave because "trials weren't available." This was not only embarrassing, but potentially damaging to my relationship with my client with whom I was on a meeting. Just an absolutely bizarre way to treat someone who is interested in trying out your co-working space for a few hours while there were a grand total of 4 people using the common area besides me. Will not be joining.

This location is great! Brooke, the on-site manager, is super friendly and helpful. The shared spaces are clean and comfy, and the phone booths are perfect and soundproof. Highly recommend!
