Contact Property

Inspired by the coworking and localism movements in the early aughts, Beahive is a pioneering network of hives for work and community and possibilities.

A place where entrepreneurs, creatives and techies mix with nonprofit leaders, activists and community organizers. A member-powered work club for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, consultants, and microbusinesses.

Our flagship hive is right off of Beacon’s Main St in a 4,000 square foot space, all on one accessible, street-fronting ground floor.

Our plant-filled space features an open, airy communal lounge and a kitchen with huge storefront windows facing Eliza St.

It’s dotted with lounge areas and work tables and borders multiple meeting rooms and privacy pods — available to both members and non-members. The lounge also functions as an event and meeting space.

I needed a quiet, comfortable workspace during a short trip to Beacon and feel lucky I found Beahive. The space had everything I needed, and as someone who is vision-impaired, the staff went above and beyond to help me navigate and feel at ease.

Such an asset to the community! We are the oldest photography group in the area, started in 2013 by Beaconite Tom Conroy. Without the graciousness of the Beahive, we would be unable to meet

As always the Beahive is welcoming and friendly for a group event. Neat, accessible, well appointed and lit with the right mix of comfort and business!

What a great space! It’s warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in—nothing like the sterile co-working spaces I’ve seen elsewhere. There’s plenty of natural light and plants everywhere, which makes it feel calm and inspiring. I booked the Eliza Room last minute, and the staff went out of their way to make it happen, even meeting me on a Saturday morning to show me around. The room was perfect: spacious table for six, whiteboard with supplies, a big window for natural light, and even a door I could open for fresh air. It was quiet, comfortable, and gave me plenty of room to spread out and focus. I grabbed coffee across the street and enjoyed the lively neighborhood vibe. If I need a workspace in this area again, this will be my go-to spot!

It’s been a terrific first month and I LOVE the vibe and the environment! We had our first meeting in the Beacon room. The monitor on wheels is a GREAT idea - and it connected almost instantly with my laptop so I could spend less time prepping and more time presenting. Kudos - we need more Beahives in the business community!
