Avoid if you actually rely on your business operations We used Regus for a virtual office, and the experience has been consistently unreliable and frustrating. They provided us with the wrong phone number, which was published on our website and stayed incorrect for months. When we raised this, it was met with complete silence, no urgency, no accountability. Communication overall has been poor. Emails go unanswered, and even repeated follow-ups don’t lead to resolution. When issues are raised, they simply ignore them. It gets worse. After ongoing service failures and lack of response, we stopped payments due to the dispute, and instead of resolving anything, they sent us to collections. There was also a serious data privacy issue, where an email was sent to over 100 clients with all email addresses exposed publicly instead of using BCC . That alone should raise major concerns for any business. If you’re trying to build and grow a business, this is not a partner you can rely on. Basic things like communication, accuracy, and accountability are missing. Take your business elsewhere if you want dependable support.

I had been looking for a small office for some time, and was excited to see that Regus had finally opened a locatin in the Capital District/Upstate NY. The office had a rough start in April of this year. However, the new office manager, Gia, has really turned things around. The location of the building is safe, the office space is clean and quite, the tenants are pleasant, and the technologies are up to speed. Gia is wonderful to deal with, she wants to help her tenants, and make improvemts to the space.

Do not rent office space here. First of all, it’s nothing like the website. Sales practices are very misleading. 1. No Directory for your business. Regis signs all over the place. It’s as if you work for Tegus or the corporate office. 2. No signage but if you are allowed to buy your own sign for the door, you pay $35 per month. 3. No common area. Your clients or customers have no waiting area. 4. Exterior of the building isn’t maintained well. 5. Unprofessional environment 6. If you want tea or coffee, you pay for each cu p or you pay a monthly fee 7. You pay for every copy 8. If you get internet from an outside provider, you still pay Regus 10. Fees upon Fees upon Fees 11. Ineffective WiFi 12. Double Security deposit because they have a high rate of cancellation of leases 13. You have to pay your rent 15 days in advance. They claim it’s due to Covid 14. No response from area managers 15. You can hear everything from the office next door. No privacy 16. Leaky ceiling and non working AC making offices smell musty And the list goes on and on! You get locked into a contract before you realize you were on the hook. Then they tell everyone who is on default of their leases.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.

  • At Regus - Albany - New Karner Rd, Private Offices and Dedicated Desks can be booked on a monthly basis.

  • Open desks may be the ideal choice if you thrive in a collaborative environment and value the opportunity to connect with fellow coworkers. Dedicated desks, on the other hand, provide a designated space with shared community amenities, catering to those who seek a balance between privacy and interaction.

For ultimate focus and private interactions, private offices are best for solo individuals and teams that seek uninterrupted productivity.

Selecting the most suitable workspace for you typically hinges on your work style and preferences, but it can also be determined by the type of work that you do, its duration, and whether you work alone or in a team.

  • To truly understand what Regus - Albany - New Karner Rd has to offer, we recommend scheduling a tour to get a firsthand feel of the environment and amenities. Fill out this form to let us know the date and time that works for you, and we'll be happy to show you around.

  • Whether you're a day pass holder or a monthly member, you can access most amenities. Meeting rooms do require prior scheduling, and private offices are reserved for those with subscriptions. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to all. Complimentary services are also available regardless of membership tier, while ancillary services can be purchased separately or negotiated with Regus.
