Reviews
Expansive has a wonderful co-working space in downtown Albany. I've used them twice over the past three years. The office space is bright & clean with lots of room to do work. Destiny is a delight as a building manager, keeping everything working smoothly. Highly recommended if you want a nice place to get work done.
Offices and kitchen are clean, and the community manager Destiny is very helpful!
All I can say is GREAT EXPERIENCE! I had an amazing day at this Albany location while needing a day office. If I didn't travel so much for work I would Definitely get an office space here, but for now when I am in town I will definitely be booking my day office here.
I’ve purchased a day office maybe three or four times at the Albany location, and every time I visit, Destiny the community manager makes my experience excellent. She is truly dedicated to her role and is a great representation of the company. I’ll be in town again soon, and I will definitely be returning!
I recently visited State Street to look for a space for me and my team, and I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful lady named Destiny. She was so sweet and incredibly helpful! Even though I was a walk-in, she stopped what she was doing to give me her full attention during the tour. She even offered me water or coffee, such a thoughtful touch. Although I didn’t find a space that fit my team’s needs this time, the Albany location is absolutely beautiful and very well-maintained. I highly recommend stopping by! I’ll definitely be back to book a day office or coworking pass the next time I’m in town.

For spontaneous collaboration and interaction, open desks provide an open and flexible environment. If you prefer a dedicated space with shared community elements, dedicated desks offer a great balance between personal space and interaction.
On the other hand, private offices are best suited for focused work and private interactions. They're ideal for solo workers as well as teams seeking a dedicated space, shielded from distractions.
Choosing the ideal coworking arrangement for you is about aligning your workspace with your work style, team dynamics, and project requirements.

Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Expansive.

Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.

Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.
It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Expansive, who is more than happy to help out.
