My experience with Regus Hudson NJ was very disappointing from start to finish. First, just getting into the building is a hassle — the security downstairs makes it difficult for you or your guests to enter, and getting out (or moving your belongings) requires extra permissions and confirmations from both Regus and building security. It’s unnecessarily complicated and annoying. I rented an office here for about 4–5 months on a monthly rental plan and gave a 30-day notice before moving out. However, their billing process is completely unreasonable — they bill you months in advance and then pile on late penalties even when you’re up to date. After I moved out, they charged me $420.37 for “Office Restoration,” even though the office wasn’t clean when I moved in. For reference, a deep cleaning for a two-bedroom apartment costs around $250–$300, yet they charged over $400 to “restore” a tiny one-person office. To make things worse, I couldn’t get in touch with anyone to discuss or dispute the charges, and eventually, they sued me for $1,152.36, which consisted only of their late fees and the questionable “restoration” charges. This whole experience was insane. Never again will I rent an office from Regus.

My experience with Regus in Princeton, New Jersey, has been extremely frustrating due to unclear billing practices and hidden charges. Here’s the specific case: I began the contract on October 1st, after registering my card for automatic payments on September 26th, the same day I accepted their final proposal. That same day, they charged not only the first month, but also the last month and a deposit, meaning that for a six-month contract, they were already charging the equivalent of three months in advance. Shortly after, Regus sent me an invoice for November… 45 days before the month even started! Additionally, because I registered my card on September 26th, they applied a “late fee,” as if my contract had started before that date, which doesn’t make sense, as I hadn’t even started using the space. They also informed me that, although I had set up auto-payments from the beginning, they “could not process it” as automatic, requiring me to make a manual payment by October 15th for the month of November, resulting in a late fee for a month that hadn’t even begun. In summary, within just two months of the contract, I have already been charged for four months and two unjustified late fees, even though all payments were made on time. To try to resolve these issues, I contacted customer service several times, including Arani S. from Account Helpdesk, but I did not receive a satisfactory solution. She mainly seeks to justify extra charges to increase the company’s profits on the space without providing any satisfactory resolution for the client. Two people in the office, Lisa and Susan, tried to help, but it seems that internal processes do not grant them enough authority to address these issues. Leaving the matter to someone else, I’ve noticed that the company’s approach appears to focus on exploiting small print and adding extra fees. This affects loyalty, and based on my experience, I am already considering other options for next year. I recommend that future clients carefully review every detail and clarify all conditions before committing to Regus. Sincerely, Guillermo Carrasco / Carlos Vielma

Worst experience. Even if you terminate the lease, they will charge you and threatened to litigate if you don't pay. They keep scamming
