A very bad experience with leasing. When I called the cmpnd company, they told me to book a tour online. When I went there for my appointment they said they wont be showing any apartments I need to work with leasing agents for apartment tour. Just wasted my time on the weekend to travel there and they just sent us back.

CMPND’s leasing agent Bennett personally reached out, arranged a showing at 97 Newkirk Street, and confirmed the appointment. We made the trip all the way from Manhattan — only to find no one at the office. The agent had already gone home. No call. No text. No apology. This isn’t just bad customer service — it’s a complete lack of respect for prospective tenants’ time. If their leasing team can’t show up to their own scheduled appointments, you can only imagine how maintenance and management issues will be handled once you’re actually living there. Look elsewhere. There are plenty of well-managed buildings in Jersey City that actually want your business.

Overall really good apartment, nice management and location. Only thing is wifi disconnect a couple times but other than that it’s great

I really like leaving here because of multiple things : 1. People on the reception is very nice and helpful 2. Maintenance people are very quick to solve your issue 3. Very nice view of my apartment 4. It is very near to the path like 5 mins walking 5. Very clean and nice apartment near to new appliances

lived here a few years now and experienced various changes to staff and tenants alike and recently re-signed for another couple years. our in house super, jorge, is phenomenal at his job and even greater on a personal level. he, his sidekick juan and the rest of his team always got this building in shape and respond to any and all work orders in a timely fashion. and with steve, our lead concierge — it all feels like a tight knit community. big shout out to stephanie, alexandra, ashley and none other than big dave over at management — happy to be a tenant here at CMPND/MRK.
