The center provided respite care for my 99 year old mom while I was necessarily away from the area for a few days and the care was excellent. The personnel there, from admissions to nursing to food staff are all highly professional and caring. Many facilities do not take short term, self pay folks, and from what I have heard, they are just parked for the most part, but Hunterdon Care Center had the doctor check her over, and the nurses provided care as if she was a regular intake. I was so impressed and grateful that the money we spent on those days was definitely worth it!

The staff here is always very pleasant and professional. We’ve been visiting our aunt here for over 8 years. Everyone we deal with from the office to the aides has always been friendly and they treat our aunt with such kindness. The renovations look excellent. The facility looks so much cleaner and brighter. Several issues, however……the nightstand is now up against the wall by the bathroom so there is no place, within reach, for her to put her books or magazines. In addition, we had left 3 pair of reading glasses in her old nightstand and they were all gone. We had to go out and buy her more. Hopefully things get better organized once all the renovations are completed.

Amara, the LPN is more than 5 stars as an LPN. She is simply a caring and compassionate woman. She cares about the patient and takes time to communicate with loved ones going through very difficult times watching their loved ones age into another place.
