New Jersey business owners considering Regus: read this first. Their New Jersey Better Business Bureau rating reflects exactly what my experience has been. I am 11 months into unresolved material billing errors, kicked off by a renewal associate simply entering an incorrect date on a recent agreement. Mistakes happen, but the reality of Regus and their billing systems is that once an error is made, it can take months, and I’ve read, years, to resolve. No team is accountable. It’s always another team’s responsibility, and no one has control over their automated processes. In my case, billing errors have been so material ($13k +) that my card issuer’s fraud department has gotten involved. Regus has repeatedly attempted to re-bill me for erroneous amounts and have charged late fees tied to uncollected billing errors. They’ve also sent multiple collection letters tied to billing errors that have included threats to interrupt my business continuity. On top of all this, there are exorbitant “restoration fees” assessed after you leave, for work that isn’t needed or performed. These are buried in their House Rules and are increased without explicit notice. Add in unreachable, anonymous offshore account “help desk” associates who close tickets before issues are resolved, and you start to see the true cost of leasing from Regus.

This is a scam service. I booked once with them, and canceled. Now they keep trying to repeatedly charge my card. We had to get our legal involved. Do not, under any circumstances, give them your CC details.

The lone bright spot of this office space has been Lynn at the front desk. She is helpful, well-mannered, and accommodating. Lynn is very reliable and goes out of her way to assist our business and staff in anyway possible. Since our occupancy (2 years ago), the space’s heating and cooling has never worked properly. Lynn has made great efforts to help, but some things are simply out of her control.

New Jersey business owners considering Regus: read this first. Their New Jersey Better Business Bureau rating reflects exactly what my experience has been. I am 7 months into unresolved material billing errors, kicked off by a renewal associate simply entering an incorrect date on a recent agreement. Mistakes happen, but the reality of Regus and their billing systems is that once an error is made, it can take months, and I’ve read, years, to resolve. No team is accountable. It’s always another team’s responsibility, and no one seems to have control over the automated processes. In my case, the error was so material that my card issuer’s fraud detection flagged it and alerted me. Since then, Regus has repeatedly attempted to re-bill me for the same amount and have charged late fees tied to the error. They’ve also sent multiple letters, including threats to interrupt my business continuity, if you can believe that. On top of this, there are exorbitant “restoration fees” for work that isn’t needed or performed. These are buried in their House Rules and increased without explicit notice. Add in unreachable, anonymous offshore account “help desk” associates in Luxembourg who close tickets before issues are resolved, and you start to see the true cost of leasing from Regus, despite the competitive rates presented up front.

It’s always another team’s responsibility, and no one seems to have control over the automated processes. Unfortunately, that includes Mark Dixon, the CEO of IWG, who I've contacted multiple times, who has has acknowledged my emails, and promised that someone on his leadership team would handle. In my case, the error was so material that my card issuer’s fraud detection flagged it and alerted me. Since then, Regus has repeatedly attempted to re-bill me for the same amount and have charged late fees tied to the error. To any Regus associate considering a reply to this review - don’t bother. And don’t create yet another ticket that will only confuse matters further or be closed before my issues are resolved. Instead - FIX IT.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, you can certainly take a tour of the space before signing up for a membership. In fact, it’s encouraged, to help you get a feel for what your workday will look like. Schedule a tour here by filling out the form along with the date and time when you would like to visit the space and we’ll see you there.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Most, if not all, amenities are available to you as a member, regardless of the type of membership. Some shared spaces, like the meeting rooms, need to be booked in advance and private offices are only available for those with a subscription. However, all the other areas, like the lounge, kitchen and breakout spaces, are usable by every member. All complimentary services are available and anything ancillary can be purchased or negotiated with Regus.

  • Coworking spaces typically have limited storage options, most of which are reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices. With that said, it’s best to contact the coworking operator directly via the form on the right side of the page to learn about available storage options.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Regus, who is more than happy to help out.
