Regus - Fargo - Brandt Office Park

⭐ 1/5 — I would strongly recommend staying away from Regus I signed a one-year agreement with Regus at the end of October for a very small office at $235 per month. I had absolutely no intention of staying for another year. During my lease, I asked the employees at the front desk multiple times when I needed to give notice because I did not plan to renew. Nobody could give me a clear answer. I was repeatedly told that I still had plenty of time because my agreement did not expire until the end of October. At the end of August/beginning of September — still approximately two months before my original agreement expired — I logged into my account intending to terminate it. That is when I discovered that Regus had already automatically renewed my agreement for another FULL YEAR and increased my monthly price from $235 to $470 — exactly DOUBLE. I never signed a new agreement accepting a $470 monthly rate. Regus says the original agreement required me to give notice three months before expiration and that they sent an email notifying me. I later found that email in my spam folder. What is especially frustrating is that even the employees working at the Regus location apparently did not know about this three-month deadline. I had specifically asked them about cancellation multiple times. When I returned after discovering the renewal and explained what happened, they were surprised as well and could not help me. I was simply told that everything had to be handled online. Trying to resolve this has been incredibly frustrating. I tried the online system, submitted a ticket, emailed, and tried calling. I could not find anyone with authority who would actually discuss the situation with me and resolve it. I was repeatedly pushed toward online/automated support, only to ultimately be told that the renewal had already happened and nothing could be done. So because I missed a three-month notice deadline that the employees at the location themselves could not clearly explain to me, Regus now claims I am committed to another 12 months at $470/month — $5,640 for the year — double my previous monthly price. Anyone considering Regus should be extremely careful. Read every line of the agreement, especially the automatic-renewal and notice provisions. Do not rely on what you’re told at the location. You could discover months before your lease ends that you have already been locked into another year at a dramatically higher price. I am extremely disappointed with Regus and the way this has been handled. I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing other available options to dispute this renewal. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Regus to anyone.

The agreement has ended, but they have continued to charge my credit card. I have sent requests to try to delete my Regus account. This experience has been a nightmare and I will never use Regus again. Edit: This was their response: "Upon checking with our local community team, we have confirmed that the charges are valid. Therefore, we are unable to credit the postage charges that were incurred after your agreement ended." They put in writing the fact that the agreement has ended. What legal authority do they have to continue charging me?!

I recently relocated my business, and I'm very satisfied with the decision. The Regus building is a nice, accommodating facility with awesome staff. Eric does an excellent job of running the facility. It's nice that he works upfront to greet customers, and directs them to their desired office location. I have had multiple patients tell me already how polite and helpful he's been. To any business owner, that's a great added perk. This facility is clean and very well managed. I'm very content being a tenant here.
