One of Weaverville's true hidden gems, we are super lucky to have it here. The brilliance is that the spaces are organized to support either work-focus or social connection, so you can plug in whatever your specific needs are. The founder Adam is friendly, supportive, and creative, genuinely interested in supporting others in what they do. As a result, there's a growing membership of lively and caring folks. Beyond just a "co-working space", the Local Collective offers a canvas to paint your vision for commuity.

I've joined or visited many coworking spaces in the last 10 years. Although I had found one that I thought was really good, once I visited The Local Collective I realized how much I was actually missing in-person community and not just another place to work. I love that it's a house that was converted to a coworking space because it gives you so many places to work. There are several spaces inside: quiet focus rooms and the communal dining/living room area where you can still get work done but also have plenty of opportunity to connect with others, listen to good music and get feedback on something for your business if you need it. I also love that there are a couple of different outdoor spaces and a basement built for creativity. I love that it's truly locally owned and not another franchise, and you can feel the difference immediately. The space is filled with art, music and movies but the best thing Adam has done is bring together amazing, talented people, and that is what truly makes it special. If you want a chill, comfy place to do some serious work but also connect with some amazing humans, join The Local Collective.

An absolutely great place to study and work! Everyone I've met here have been amazing, especially the owner himself. The space is nice and appealing, roomy and cozy, and spacious for multiple different people and uses.

I joined in the fall of 2025 as a social member and go to the Tuesday magic the gathering almost every week. I’ve also enjoyed their monthly market, the vendors are awesome and have a wide variety of offerings. Everyone at the Local Collective has been great, and I really like what they bring to the community.

I joined the Local Collective last August, having been working alone from home for a couple of years. I stopped in on a whim one afternoon, and as soon as I got a tour from Adam, I knew I had found something special. I can say without a doubt that my business and confidence have both grown exponentially since I joined. From valuable group feedback, to goofy game nights, The Local Collective is not just my workspace - it has truly become my community. 💞
