The Wright Village is truly a welcoming ecosystem for emerging business owners in Raleigh and beyond. Its founder, Mel Wright, has worked tirelessly to create a supportive environment where entrepreneurs can connect, grow, and thrive. She consistently goes above and beyond by reaching out to individuals in the community and developing meaningful programs that directly benefit business owners. I am proud of her success and the impact she is making. It’s an honor to participate in her initiatives, which are always of the highest quality. Raleigh is fortunate to have such a resource, and I highly recommend The Wright Village to any entrepreneur seeking community and growth.

I have unfortunately not had a pleasant experience with this business. I have reached out to the owner, begin a conversation and have not been responded to which is unfortunately. I have been hearing great things of others experience but so far, mine have been less than optimal before I walk through the door. 1. I heard about this business through an ecosystem based business that uplifts others and was beyond excited when I found out a space like this exist in Raleigh but when I asked a question on that video, their was a comment made that felt demeaning. Which I have emailed the owner about. 2. There was an event that was coming up and I reached out via an email to see if they had scholarship opportunities for the event. The owner reached out via email, saying they value established people (you never know who is someone or will be), gave a weird discount/ pricing suggestion which I did have someone sponsoring me but it was the demeaning time. 3. I responded back to the owner, told her it was all good, I still would love to invest time in the space and wanted to ensure their was no ill will. No response. 4. Before this incident, I applied for Launch Raleigh which was presented by a mentor and with a board that sponsors the effort. I was taken aback that it was being hosted by this organization but applied, went to the meeting, engaged and we were told we would have interviews mind you, in the process, my business status changes and elevated. We were told there would be interviews to ensure fit- I was not reached out to at all. Eventually, got the standard message that I did not get in. - I believe that was based on a biased perspective and I question was I properly considered. I've been hearing a bit of things from others consistent with my experience. - I still have yet to be able to tour this place which is the only thing at this point I've wanted especially if recommending other business owners to places. My only reason for sharing this is for balanced experiences and to let others who have had similar experiences with this business or others, share it. It can be a growth opportunity to us all. I'm more than sure, it is a lovely space, remember in the beginning of this long review, I said I was super eager to learn more, see and become apart of. This type of business is important to our communities. That being said, so are the people apart of it and those asking to let in. Wishing this business continued success. Respectfully.
