I have been in one of the office suites at Interworks since February and it has been an amazing location to grow my business. I am able to stay connected to many different events in Mount Airy which has been very beneficial being in a new area.

Interworks is a very clean, secure, state of the art facility. The staff is friendly and informative. The coffee bar, snacks, and beverages are also a plus. A great place to be if you need temporary office space. I'm very impressed and happy that Mount Airy has such a great resource. KAB

I am the director of the Small Business Center at Surry Community College. My office re-located to Interworks in January of 2026. The renovated space now known as SBC@InterWORKS is absolutely wonderful. This is a space for entrepreneurs to come together for classes, confidential counseling and other resources.

Interworks and staff did a great job hosting our team. We had 20-24 people in throughout a three day stretch. The interworks team catered breakfast and lunch each day and were available at all times for questions. A great space with friendly people.

Fantastic collaborative office space with excellent amenities! They offer private offices, conference rooms, and classroom space, making it perfect for meetings, trainings, or everyday work needs. The atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and productive. We love being there and highly recommend it!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To truly understand what Interworks has to offer, we recommend scheduling a tour to get a firsthand feel of the environment and amenities. Fill out this form to let us know the date and time that works for you, and we'll be happy to show you around.

  • Interworks has a 24/7 availability that comes with a monthly membership. Hourly and day passes usually only allow for access during regular business hours.

  • Absolutely. Flexibility is one of the best parts of coworking. Most coworking memberships are month-to-month, so you can quickly adjust your space preferences according to your unique requirements and the size of your team. Whether that means upgrading the space or downsizing it or even completely changing the type of coworking subscription that you use, you always have the option to adjust as you go.

It may be possible to adjust your membership before current membership ends, but you will have to discuss and negotiate directly with Interworks, who is more than happy to help out.

  • While storage in coworking spaces is generally limited, and mostly reserved for members with dedicated desks or private offices, you should always check with the coworking operator about additional storage solutions. Fill out the form on the right side of the page to reach out to them and learn all about the available options.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.
