I’ve been a member since they opened. I can understand a place like this not being for everyone but it’s definitely a place for me. I am never more productive than when I’m here and despite it often being quite busy I can always find a good seat and the music makes other folks work calls less distracting and focus time easier. Well worth the monthly cost for coffee and tea alone.

Love this place and am such a proud member. I look forward to coming here to get work done. Great vibe.

Rad if you’re looking for a focused space to get your head down for a few hours. Probably not the best for a lot of meetings or large-format work (spreadsheets, etc) since they aren’t any monitors. The vibe is perfect, the music is great, the design is phenom, the coffee is tasty, and the people are cool. Definitely a 30s ~remote creative job~ vibe. Street parking is alright, and a lot of them are 2-hr max but can usually find a spot on first attempt.

I was interested in a membership and emailed Switchyards about their facilities for working moms who pump. Received a series of out-of-touch and condescending emails back, with their VP clearly stating that they have no space (and no short-term plan to address this) at any of their locations. Why would I pay for a membership here when I’d just have to drive home or go to my car to pump? This would be so easy to address, so it says a lot that they won’t. Would not recommend Switchyards for anyone looking for inclusive coworking spaces.

Great spot for getting stuff done and drinking lots of coffee. Quiet, affordable, no upsell to a private desk and silliness like that.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most coworking space amenities are open to all members, regardless of the membership plan. Meeting rooms require prior reservation, and private offices are exclusively available to those with subscription packages. However, the lounge, kitchen, and breakout spaces are open to everyone. Complimentary amenities are also available to all, while ancillary services can be purchased or negotiated individually with Switchyards.

  • Flexibility is the cornerstone of coworking, so you always have the option to adjust your workspace to match your current needs. With month-to-month memberships, you can effortlessly upgrade, downgrade, or even switch between different coworking plans.

While the standard practice is to change memberships only once the current one ends, Switchyards may be able to offer additional options, so it’s best to reach out to their staff directly.

  • The open desk is the way to go if you’re looking for a flexible workspace in an open environment where you can socialize with other members. Or, choose a dedicated desk if you want a designated space that also allows you to keep in touch with the community.

A private office works wonders if you or your team need a quiet, secluded space to conduct your work and interact with people in your organization.

It’s important to understand the different types of coworking arrangements available to you, depending on the type of work that you do and its duration, and whether you’re a solo worker or part of a team.

  • Please reach out to Switchyards for more detailed information on membership options and pricing.

  • Storage in coworking spaces can be limited, with most of it reserved for members with dedicated desks and private offices. However, you can reach out to the coworking operator using the form on the right side of the page to see what options are currently available.
