We don't usually leave negative reviews, but after experiencing serious issues at several Spaces locations, we feel it's important to share our experience. Our company has been a Spaces client for over a year. We rent office space in Toronto and regularly organize professional wine tasting events at Spaces locations across North America. Until recently, we genuinely believed we had found a reliable partner. While we encountered problems in Cleveland, Chicago, and Los Angeles, our experience in Charlotte was particularly disappointing. We booked a meeting room well in advance for one of our professional tasting events. As always, buyers had been invited, wine samples had been shipped, and everything had been organized. Only afterward were we informed that the event could not take place because of the location's house rules regarding alcohol. We were also told that the center could not accept our shipments. By that point, it was far too late to change venues or make other arrangements. What made this especially frustrating was that we have been organizing these same professional tastings at Spaces locations for over a year. We also have an active Spaces membership and currently rent office space through Spaces. If these restrictions applied, they should have been communicated before our reservation was accepted, not after our event was fully planned. We contacted Spaces and were told the matter would be escalated. However, after several follow-ups, we found ourselves explaining the same situation to different people without receiving a clear resolution. We understand that policies can vary from one location to another. What is difficult to understand is the lack of communication before the booking and the lack of follow-through afterward. We genuinely hope Spaces improves communication between its locations and provides clients with clear information before confirming reservations. What a gorgeous space to call your office? Spaces South End is far more spacious than some other Charlotte locations. The offices are clean and private, the conference room is comfortable, the break room area has ice and coffee. Staff is professional, pleasant and knows their place well. I would love to work here when I need to meet a client, or just need a Sun-filled day to be productive. Parking is tight, but that’s South End. Right outside the door are two dozen places to eat or get a snack. 5/5 highly recommend.

Great lighting, don’t feel cooped up. Also great location with walking distances to several eateries. Good location for a temporary set up. Rita was a fantastic resource for any questions our team had!
