I don't watch movies often so this is a great place to go when I want to see a good movie, made by real people, that has a message with a purpose.
Such a cool spot! I've lived in Charlotte for 8 years and never heard of this place. Just saw Girls Like Girls and the chairs were super comfy (they recline and the arm rests come up!), the popcorn was delicious, and the price was reasonable ($42 for 2 tickets, medium popcorn, and peanut M&Ms). Such a cool spot. Also there's tonsssss of street parking so not sure why people keep citing that as an issue.
The very best place to go in Charlotte, in my opinion. I've been attending the IPH since they opened and have loved every visit. The theater is always so well-put together, with screens that bring out the quality of the amazing films they show here, and the staff is always so kind and friendly. There's always a great selection of movies here, from new underseen indie releases to stellar classic films from across the world. I will continue coming here for the rest of my life if I am able, it's truly special.
