I am submitting this feedback as an escalation to senior leadership because the recent renovation has resulted in a significant and unacceptable decline in the functionality and value of the workspace. The complete removal of the dedicated heads‑down quiet room—one of the most consistently praised and differentiating features of the club—was a deeply misguided decision. This space was not a luxury; it was a core asset that supported a critical work style for many members. Eliminating it entirely has left the club with **no true quiet environment**, which directly contradicts the needs and expectations of members who rely on focused, distraction‑free workspaces. The replacement “quiet zone” is quiet in name only. Music plays at normal volume throughout the club, including this area, and conversations from people meeting in the open space are clearly audible. The quiet sign placed deep into the room does nothing to mitigate noise or create an environment suitable for concentration. This is not a quiet space—it is simply a section of the room labeled as one. The addition of a closed‑door meeting room is appreciated, but it does not solve the problem. The room seats 6–8 people, yet it is frequently reserved by a single individual seeking silence because it is now the **only** place where quiet can be found. This is an inefficient use of space and a direct consequence of removing the dedicated quiet room. Furthermore, placing two group conference rooms directly beside the supposed quiet zone—without walls or sound separation—has amplified noise and foot traffic. Groups gather, talk, and move through the area constantly as they head upstairs to their meeting spaces. The result is increased disruption in what was intended to be a calm work environment. This renovation disregarded the diverse work styles of members and removed a feature that was repeatedly cited as a major benefit of the club. If space constraints were the concern, the open bar‑stool seating on the second floor could have been reduced or repurposed to create a smaller enclosed heads‑down area. Instead, the renovation eliminated a critical workspace and replaced it with a setup that does not meet member needs. I am extremely disappointed. The quiet room was my refuge from workplace noise, and its removal has materially diminished the club’s value and usability. I strongly urge leadership to reconsider this decision and restore a dedicated, enclosed quiet space that supports focused work and honors the needs of all members.

I can confirm what other co-workers have reported - the music is very loud. Much louder than other SY locations I've frequented. The soundproofing of the Club Room also isn't as good as other spaces I've visited. Otherwise, the space is big and beautify. There are numerous seating options and phone booths. I also arrived early and didn't have any issues finding parking.

I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now? Me and my friends and family love it! Perfect space for work or meetings - people complain about the music but honestly it’s not that bad and they have the club room, the quiet room and the phone booths if you need something quieter ! I personally love it/ I’ve also had the pleasure of visiting locations in other states and the charlotte locations are much bigger with better parking

Bought a day pass via the lans app. Scanned my phone and couldn’t get in. There’s also no phone number to call for any help and lans support didn’t respond. Pretty disappointing.
