This is a great space to work - everyone is so friendly, it's bright and comfortable, and very convenient. I checked out a few different spaces before I found Westbase - some were dark and dingy, others were nice-enough but weren't convenient or didn't have free parking. Westbase checks all the boxes and then some!

As a local with a remote job, I came to WestBase a little over a year ago in search of a community that could fill that office-shaped hole in my heart (without the office politics). One visit was all I needed to know that I was in the right place. Come for the laid-back vibes, modern aesthetic, kitchen, free parking, phone booths, and proximity to some of the best spots in Asheville (Old World Levain [OWL] Bakery, Hole Doughnuts, Taco Billy, Cooperative Coffee, etc.). Stay for the people who make this place welcoming, fun, and inclusive--people who are genuinely kind and want to get to know you, not just what you do for work. If your motivation for joining a coworking space is primarily about *your* career trajectory (networking, professional development events, incubation, etc.), then I wouldn't necessarily recommend WestBase. The ethos here is not transactional. But if you're looking for a place to get your day job done while making real connections with cool and interesting people, please come join us!

I've been using this space for a couple of years, and I highly recommend it! Great vibes, coffee, beautiful setting with plenty of light, wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. And lots of cool people work here!
